1. Who we are
Scribbleli is made by ScribbleLinks, a Softscribble company ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Scribbleli Chrome extension, the web dashboard at app.scribbleli.com, and this website. Questions? Email admin@scribbleli.com.
Scribbleli is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation.
2. What we collect
Stored on our servers
| Data | What it includes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account details | Name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), plan, AI credit balance, and the reseller you signed up through, if any. | To sign you in and run your plan and credits. |
| Activity log | Which assistant performed which action and when (for example "invite sent" or "comment posted"), AI tokens used, and short details such as the name of the LinkedIn member involved or the first 200 characters of a comment that was posted. | To show your activity and usage, charge AI credits correctly and prevent abuse. |
| Licence checks | When your extension last checked in with our server. | To confirm your plan is active. |
| Credit history | Credit top-ups and adjustments to your account. | Billing records and support. |
Stored only in your browser or on your computer
- Your assistant settings, daily limits, schedules and on/off switches.
- Outreach campaigns and lead lists, Lead Hunter results, Replier conversation state and booking progress.
- Contacts collected by Contacts Fetcher (the contact details your connections share on their LinkedIn profiles).
- Files you export (for example a conversation or contact export) are saved to your own computer.
This data lives in Chrome's extension storage on your device. We can't see it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the extension.
What we don't collect
- Your LinkedIn password or your LinkedIn session cookie.
- Your browsing history outside LinkedIn and Scribbleli.
- Payment card details (plans are arranged directly with us or a reseller).
- Location, health or financial information.
3. Your LinkedIn session
The extension works on the LinkedIn account you're already signed in to in Chrome. To act on your behalf, it reads LinkedIn pages and uses your existing LinkedIn session in your browser (including LinkedIn's session cookie) to make the same requests LinkedIn's own website makes. These requests go directly from your browser to LinkedIn. Your session cookie stays in your browser and is never sent to Scribbleli.
Each assistant only runs when you switch it on, within the limits and hours you set. You're responsible for using Scribbleli in line with LinkedIn's User Agreement.
4. AI processing
When an assistant writes something, the extension sends the content it needs to our server: for example the text of a post you're commenting on, a comment you're replying to, a message thread, or the public profile details of a person you're contacting. Our server sends it to a third-party AI provider to generate a response and returns the response to your extension.
- We don't save this content after the response is returned. Only the activity log described above is kept.
- AI providers we use process the content under their own terms to generate the response. Depending on configuration this may include DeepSeek, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (Gemini), Groq, OpenRouter or Together AI.
- Content you send through Scribbleli is never used by us to train AI models.
5. Google data (Replier meeting booking)
If you choose to connect Google, the extension asks for permission to use Google Sheets and Google Calendar. It uses this access only to:
- read and update the time slots in the booking sheet you choose, and
- create, update and cancel the Google Calendar events (with a Google Meet link) for meetings booked through the Replier, including sending the invite to the attendee.
Your Google access token is kept in the extension and used directly between your browser and Google. It is not sent to Scribbleli's servers, and we don't store your sheet or calendar data.
Scribbleli's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
6. How we use data
- To provide the assistants, the dashboard and your account.
- To check your plan, charge AI credits and show your usage.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse (for example rate limiting sign-in attempts).
- To answer your support requests.
We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to decide creditworthiness or lending.
7. Who we share it with
- AI providers, only the content needed to generate a response (see section 4).
- Our hosting provider, which runs the servers that store the data described in section 2.
- Your reseller, if you signed up through one: they can see your name, email address, plan, credits and activity log so they can manage your account.
- Legal requirements: if we're required to by law, or to protect our users or the service.
Providers may process data in countries other than your own. We only share what each one needs for its role.
8. How long we keep it
- Account details: for as long as your account exists, and deleted when you ask us to close it.
- Activity log: kept as a rolling log, with the oldest entries removed automatically as new ones are added. Deleted with your account.
- AI content: not stored after the response is returned.
- Data in your browser: until you clear it or uninstall the extension.
9. Security
Connections to Scribbleli use HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes. AI provider keys stay on our server and are never sent to your browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you if a breach affects you.
10. Your choices and rights
- Access, correct or delete your data: email admin@scribbleli.com from your account's email address. We'll respond within 30 days.
- Remove local data: uninstall the extension, or clear its data in Chrome.
- Revoke Google access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Stop any assistant at any time from the side panel.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights, such as data portability or objecting to processing. Contact us and we'll help.
11. Children
Scribbleli is for professional use and isn't intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
12. Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes we'll let you know through the dashboard or by email.
